Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and Ashley (because no one else actually reads this blog):

I present to you my latest project: Ungrounded Software.

It’s truly awesome as long as you take “awesome” to mean something completely different than the standard definition.

I got my first e-mail newsletter from my new web host this morning.

The entire thing was a parody of the Lazy Sunday rap from SNL which has been hitting the Internet like storm.:

You may get a warning.
Step on it sucka!
What you want to do, custs?
Just click okay, mutha—–s!

I’m really starting to like this company.

My phone’s working this morning. I’m happy about that. (At the same time, I was really looking forward to getting a new phone…oh well!)

Still, I know water (nasty chicken water from the kitchen sink, in fact!) got behind the screen. Even though it’s working now, I’m not going to put any money on it’s working for much longer. I believe that it will start to corrode rather rapidly. I could be wrong though.

Anyway, I’m glad Cingular was closed yesterday and I didn’t end up dropping $100+ (which I don’t really have) on a phone (which I didn’t really need). I really need to learn to not make such rash decisions. I just can’t figure out how to stop it.

I drowned my phone today. :*-( I’m too clumsy to own electronics! (I can tell you that the iPod will be living its life far, far, far from the kitchen sink).

And both Cingular places that I know how to find are closed today. So I can’t even get a replacement.

Fortunately, my parents came to visit me today. My dad lent me his phone for emergency use. Naturally, he didn’t bring the charger with him. So I’ll have to go out tomorrow morning and drop some cash on a new phone. Bleh.

Not that I’m particularly happy about buying a new cellphone. This is just a crappy weekend all around.

I’m very, very, very tempted to just say “Screw it” and get a RAZR and a Bluetooth headset to go along with it. But I really don’t want to spend that kind of money. At the same time, those phones are so shiny…

I hope it’s not a sign of 2006-to-come. Because there’s still 364 days left to go.

Comedy Central has been advertising their “Mother Load” portion of their website like crazy recently. At the end of the ads, they show some logo with several Powerbooks.

Unsurprisingly, the site won’t actually work without Windows.

Bastards.
